In 1972, Darrell began his insurance career in Miami after serving as a pilot in the US Navy. Working as an Agent, Manager, General Agent, Master General Agent, he then founded South Florida Insurance Group and then The Insurance Group upon moving to Charlotte, NC in 1993. During that time he has gained a unique knowledge of not only the insurance business but also of the technical side of how insurance agencies work and how employers interact with agencies.
Over the years, we have gained an acute awareness of how Insurance Agency Software works and how to take advantage of all of the features. We have also developed a following of other agencies that from time to time have asked us to help them understand some of the more difficult aspects of different Agency Management Software such as the GBS Agency Expert, Benefits Connect, AgencyBloc and MyBasicGuru.
